My Suprise From a Friend

Oh what a lovely suprise. This wonderful bouquet arrived a short time ago. When I read the card it is from my wonderful friend, who I spoke about yesterday. For helping with the wind up of her home and being a lovely friend. I am so  emotional. The are absolutely gorgeous.
I am going to visit her in the care home tomorrow. She will get lots of hugs from Me.
Thought I would share this lovely vase of spring flowers with you all.

Blessings & Hugs.

Cant believe it so long since I posted anything!!!

I couldn't believe it was so long since my last post. But family and other people have been demanding my time.
One of my best friends and a neighbour (Bless her she has had to give up her house and go into a Carehome) she is 90yrs old and just had to have a leg amputated. She has been so brave, and at her age will no longer be able to look after herself.   Her only relative a great neice asked if I would help wind up her home for them as they live a long distance away. So that is what I have been doing, it is heartbreaking seeing someones home go. I shall miss her she is such a character. I shall be visiting her at least once a week though.
The family have kept me busy also fetching and carrying for them and looking after the granchildren.
I have included a couple of pictures  of them with family pets They are all great children and I love them all dearly.
Hope to have some more Annies to show you soon and the opening of my website also Fingers crossed. XX

Friday, 12 March 2010

Well I am back from my holiday & I need an other to get over this one!!!

This is the Marina In Torremolinos.
Well we arrived in Torremolinos in the afternoon in the middle of torrential rain which lasted until the next day. It was warm around 17 degrees, but rather overcast as you can see from the picture of the marina.  We ended up staying an extra day as all three of us managed to pick up this Winter vomiting virus towards the end of the week,we were not fit to fly home on the Tuesday, so had to come home on Wednesday.  Out of the 8 days we had 1 sunny day, the rest it was high winds, torrential rain with a couple of hours here and there which were cloudy.  So we didnt get to see much as we had planned.  I still cannot eat properly just eating tiny amounts and really feel washed out, weak and very tearful.  It is an awful bug, and apparently it can take 2 to 3 weeks to fully recover from. I had so many plans for doing dolls and want to try and teach myself to quilt, but I think everything is on hold until I am feeling a little better.
Anyway enough of my being miserable. You have all been really busy while I was  away its been great catching up with all your blogs. I will try to put something together. I hate not being able to do anything.

Hurray I made it!! A full week without peeking at any blogs. This my new Bunny.

Well I am glad to be back after our no peeking week.
But had so much to sort out for our holiday to Spain on Tues 2nd March, it was  just the right time, I managed to fit in making a Bunny as well. Denise of KKL primitives had a cometition to make a Bunny from a Pattern  of  hers that we had to follow, but create our own way of using it.. There was no prize it was just for the fun of it. I was really pleased with the way she turned out. I called her Blessings Bunny Fairy.  If you click on her picture it will take you to Denise's Pattern Blog and you can see all the other entries as well they are really cool.  Well back to the grind I still have loads to do before we go on holiday for the week. I will miss not being able to pop in to see what you all are up to.
 Talk Soon.
